HomeSlider Width not able to change from backend setting in 1.6.0.9

Hi,

 

I am new to Prestashop. I was trying to show full with slider for which I following this link -

http://mypresta.eu/en/art/prestashop-16/full-width-homeslider.html

 

I am using prestashop 1.6.0.9 when I try to change the width from 779 to 1170 it was showing success message but value remains same as 779. Can anyone have face this before?
