How to add all manufacturer's products to a new category

I need to add all manufacturer's products to a new category, not move, only add to a new category keeping the old ones.

I know that it's possible by SQL but I am not a SQL expert

any help?

- Which PS version?

- Do you want all products that belong to ONE manufacturer added to a new category (i.e. one manufacturer per query)?

- Do some of those products already belong to that category, or is it a completely new one?
