Adding Customer Options in one page checkout

Hello,

 

I am new to prestacart.

 

1. I want to add a new field to one page checkout option (Example some email ids whom user want to inform about his purchase). 

2. i want these to be saved in other table ( example custom_table )

 

3. I have changed template to include my field on UI side but i dont know how to do it for backend. Can some one explain me how to do it or give me any pointers?

Mails are automatically sent to the customers when orders are purchased.

I don't want email to be sent to particular user.

 

What i want is.

 

Say user buys an item at some discount. At checkout page User can provide email for another 3 guys who will get similar item at 10% more discount. So i have an input field at one step checkout page and want to enter that data in SQL when order is placed.
