Availability of cURL extension is not checked in Validation

Recommended Posts

During my automatic validation, I got the Requirements error:

Availability of cURL extension is not checked

I have "function_exists('curl_init')" in an if statement but that's not satisfactory evidently. What do I need to include to pass this requirement?

I use function_exists('curl_init') in my modules and they were approved.

So likely they have changed their requirements yet again without documenting them.  You should just respond to them and ask them how they want you to accomplish this, or explain to them that you are checking for it and they should approve your module.

I've got the same error. Team of validator.prestashop.com don't answer me. :((

Validator doesn't lile this:

  $feed = curl_init();
   curl_setopt_array($feed, $options);
  $json = curl_exec($feed);
  curl_close($feed);

Help me please.

I have the same experience. I cannot understand why someone wants our views and asks to report bugs and is unable to send at least confirmation email. Wanting answer would be perhaps too much.

Hi,

The bug was identified and is being patched right now, a new version of the validator will fix this very soon. Thanks for being so patient!

As for replies to your bug reports on the "Found a bug?" button, François does his best. Thanks for your understanding.
