Offline Credit Card Module (new version 3.01.production)

Recommended Posts

Hi,
Very Great module.
I'm using the french language, and see that there is also some tips to translate, like the month added into the dropdown list, the image showing the CVC, and the label of the link : Where is My CVC Number?

HOW Could this be done.
NOTE: I've installed the 2.0.5 version of creditcard.
And the BO tells me that there is a new module but the link is broken http://ox40.us/ (Well nothing is displayed) just a blank page.

The version mentioned in this thread is OUTDATED and has been REPLACED by version 3.01.production. Please see http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/58273/third_party_modules/module_offline_credi

Sorry Bibs. I had forgotten that I'd previously modified my Tools.php. I've removed it from the patch. Just download Prestashop v1.2 and overwrite Tools.php with a clean copy.

That's sorted the images out, thank you very much :-)

Any ideas on how to get BO to display the card type? I'm having to enter it on the front end myself to see what picture no appears!

Firstly apologies if this has already been asked, I did quickly scan thru but it's a long thread :)

Is there any way of having the numbers entered in the groups of 4 as per the credit card...and them appearing in BO in those groups also?

We have a client processing large numbers of orders each day with 95% credit card and they have requested this in order to speed up processing and less chance of errors

Any help?

Cheers
Anna

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '`mydb_`' at line 1

show table status like `mydb_`

I have it working in the latest version, I got the database error but funnily enough it then went on and set up and worked ok, the reason why I reinstalled was because I upgraded from previous version and on the upgrade it did not carry the cart amount across and showed zero.

I can not see how you can do both, it would need a specialised module that would capture and transmit it to autorize.net and that in it self would contravene their terms and conditions.

I don't think this is against their terms of use as many othe merchant solutions do this such as MIVA, OSCommerce. And u can import this information into Order managers such as Stone EDGE Order Manager

Hi - think I may have posted in wrong place - so posting here too...

I updated to Prestashop 1.2.1 and found that all was secure using SSL cert up to entering the pay by credit card option.

On the module being called I got the secure and unsecure message in IE 7, and broken padlock in Firefox.

Reason being that certain images were picking up an http:// prefix not https://.

Thought It migh be my changes to standard code on a site almost to go live, so performed a fresh default test database and install in a subfolder – same results (see attached pic) abd also got database error. I had to manually create the ps_order_credit_data table as the install module wouldn’t do it.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix image/unsecure issue.

Images / modules affected are as shown.

Help anyone???

Baz

This looks obviously a module problem, is the seo friendly urls enabled, if they turn off and see if you have the same problem. If the problem disappears you need to regenrate your .htacess file.

Also there is a patch for this mod to allow the image to show above the csv statement which I attach for you.

Hi Degsey

Think it's more than just a modules issue - in the attached image showing the problem the logo, and currency block in the header has no image either. The main shop logo should show up surely?

http://***/prestashop is the URL.

Problem occures with and without friendly URL on and htaccess field as below:

Ok the logo can be dealt with by physicaly deleting from the server the prestashop logo and ftping up your logo, it does not have to be done through admin. Just make sure you label your logo the same as the prestashop one.

Have you altered the header.tpl file in any way.

I have just noticed that if you enable SSL on the home page some of the images do not show and thats both in your test store and your main URL, that is an issue as they should all show in both modes.

The missing icons are not part of that issue as the placements for the images are not generated by the code and therefore are not there.

The logo is not an issue this has been removed on the actual shop header.

Not sure what you mean about the image locations not being generated by the code - otherwise how do they get there. Locations are set in the .tpl and modules files?

By putting an https:// in front of the home page in both main site, and test site the partial ssl message does occur, as ssl is not set on these pages - however no content is missing when I look.

My main point is that in the http:// test site it is a totally fresh install downlaoded today - no customisation to anything - everything works as it should - until the credit card module is loaded.

Hi Baz

What I suggest that you may do to isolate this situation is to install wampp lite on your pc and run it as a local server and load your test store there. I have done this myself to try and duplicate the errors that you are having, and I am not experienc9ing them either on my main store or on my local test server.

It may be a hosting issue?

For anybody who has sql errors when installing this module in Version 1.2.1.0 you can insert this code directly into phpmyadmin as a sql command to set up the tables.

CREATE TABLE `ps_order_credit_data` (
`id_record` INT NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY ,
`id_order` INT NOT NULL ,
`data_string` TEXT NOT NULL ,
`date_add` DATE,
`date_upd` DATE
) ENGINE = MYISAM

It realy needs the creditcard.php sql command line rewriting as it is wrong for some servers.

yes - i noticed that too so manually inserted into database.

All working as it should now - after much aggro - finally noticed that the version I downloaded had not got the use SSL=true statement - weird when you think how you couldn't think of using it without SSL enabled.

So anyone else downloading - save time by sticking that statement in!

HELP! ANYONE!

After getting all this working I added a 'Purchase order' module to test - didn't like the results, so deleted it - went to remove the order status for this and deleted the awaiting credit card one instead. Now I cannot get it back.

Am still getting the SQL errors when i re-install the module, but it does install and work - apart from the order status.

Any ideas, has anyone else had this problem.

Thanks

Baz

I was watching this thread a little while ago as I though it was brilliant. I already pay Streamline for a terminal - this module reduces the need to pay a second time for professional online CC payment processing (other than free processing i.e. Paypal standard).

I've looked back through the thread but am unable to determine what version of Prestashop works with this, or whether I need to add any fixer code to make things work on certain versions etc.

Could someone kindly just add a little list to show what version works with what additions required. Also whether or not there is a version that works without any thinkering required. An example of this would be:

i. Version 1.x - Does not work
ii. Version 1.xi - Works but have to add this [link] workaround

Also an answer to this could prove a useful post for people to refer back to, thus avoiding the need to keep asking this question.

This looks very interesting btw, well done!

Great. I made a mod of this module. I merged it with Show Parcels module. You can view it on this thread.

Hi All

I installed the current version of the module, as well as the patch, and generated a test order.
I can see the order in the orders page but it returns an error when I click on it:-

Table ‘myshop_presta.ps_order_credit_data’ doesn’t exist
SELECT * FROM `ps_order_credit_data` WHERE `id_order` = “2”

I uninstalled the Offline Credit Card Module and I was able to view details for both test orders.

I then re-installed the Offline Credit Card Module and it returned the following error:-

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘`ps_`’ at line 1

show table status like `ps_`

However, when I go back to the Back Office >> Payment page, the module shows as installed and the configuration options are available?

When I now try to view the two test orders, it returns the original error.

Is there anything I can try to fix the offline processing module, as I really need this functionality.

Many thanks
Deepee

Thanks very much Ehinarr, it works!

I'm not sure what the parceling option does so I'll have a look at it.
At first glance it seems like it can add a percentage based surcharge for credit card purchases. If this is the case, it will be very useful.

Thanks again.

Hi Ehinarr

I tried to configure the parceling option.

I can change values in all the available fields but when I click on the "Add" button, nothing happens.
When I click on the "Update Settings" button, it reports that settings have been updated.

However, when I now do a test credit card order for an item with a total value of $86.50 I see a radio button with:

Parcelling Options for Credit Card Payment
-> 1x of $86.50

So it isn't showing the 2% I inserted in the "Interest Tax" field.

I can also confirm that when I complete the order, the value of the order in the confirmation screen has not increased.

Any ideas as to what is wrong?

Thanks
Deepee

Hello, this sounds great, but one problem:

I uploaded a fresh copy to my modules folder, went to the back office, clicked install, and it said:

The following module(s) were not installed successfully: creditcard

It appears as active now, but I'm not sure that's OK?

I'm running the latest PrestaShop, v1.2.3 - could that be it?

Hello,

I have had a look through the post here, but don't think I can only search this thread?

I've installed it and it looks fine, however there is a large logo of a question mark - should this be present?

Thanks

How to get Order Confirmation Email working with Offline Credit Card Module v 2.0.5 and PS v1.2.3
if this works for you, please post so, and include version of module and PS

first, make a copy of all files to be edited, and rename to ..bak so you have original code if you ever want to refer back to

insert the following to prestashop/modules/creditcard/creditcard.php
start at line 185

$customer = new Customer(intval($cart->id_customer));
$mailVars = array('{firstname}' => $customer->firstname, '{lastname}' => $customer->lastname);

same file, the following line, change the code

$this->validateOrder($cart->id, $this->idOrderState, $total, $this->displayName, null, $currency->id);

to this

$this->validateOrder($cart->id, $this->idOrderState, $total, $this->displayName, null, $mailVars, $currency->id);

upload the attached files to prestashop/mails/en/
or which ever language you use, I don't know any other languages, so I have no translations

here we are creating another email template that we can assign to the order status 'Awaiting Credit Card Validation'

in the BO, goto orders > statuses > awaiting credit card validation
check the 'send email to customer.....' box, and then choose 'payment_creditcard' template from the dropdown menu

This is the minimum you must do to get an order confirmation email to send, unless you already have some other email that you send out with the 'awaiting credit card validation' order status.
The changes in creditcard.php are required.

Just reading through and there are a few issues that have been brought up but no responses?

Is it possible to break the card up on entering in to 4 parts?

XXXX - XXXX - XXXX - XXXX

Then have it output the same way?

Also;

Is it possible to have a drop down menu so users can select their card type?

Thanks =) These would be very beneficial!

If anyone else has noticed this module's configuration screen taking forever to load lately, it is because the link to 0x40's site is no longer there. So, however long you have your browser set to timeout a site is how long it takes to load.

I have modified a couple of files to fix this problem. Both are located in prestashop/modules/creditcard directory.
All I did was remove the functions and variables related to the broken URL.

I had to zip up the files because the forum wouldn't let me upload two files....I'll have to get that fixed :|

Ok, so I'm having some very difficult problems with the offline credit card module and prestashop 1.2.5 as I think a few others here are....

I've installed, re-installed tweaked and searched the forum but just can't seem toget this fixed. The problem is that immediately after I click the "Credit Card" link as a method of payment, the next page (where you enter your credit card details) has elements on it that aren't being called/requesteds securely i.e. with https:

I figured out that it's the following code that isn't being changed to https: and involves mainly javascript files which is causing the problem with parts of the page being unencrypted and causing browser alerts:

<link rel="icon" type="image/vnd.microsoft.icon" href=[b]"http://[/b]www.equivetanimalcare.com/img/favicon.ico" />
       <link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon" href="http://www.equivetanimalcare.com/img/favicon.ico" />

       <link href="/themes/equivet/css/global.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" />
       <link href="/themes/equivet/css/equivet.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" />
           [removed][removed]
       [removed]
           var baseDir = 'http://www.equivetanimalcare.com/';
           var static_token = '1f7058d251d72909f448ef89178469b9';
           var token = '7662fbd3cf3e916f4b4da8d24509bf89';
           var priceDisplayPrecision = 2;
       [removed]
       [removed][removed]
       [removed][removed]
       [removed][removed]

This code I think is being generated from the "header" - (either header.php or header.tpl)

Looking at "payment.php" file in the Credit Card module folder, I see that it contains the following which as far as I can tell (i'm a beginner at PHP - though I'm trying!) is bringing in the content from "header.php" file at the root of the install:

<?php

include(dirname(__FILE__).'/../../config/config.inc.php');
[b]include(dirname(__FILE__).'/../../header.php');[/b]
include(dirname(__FILE__).'/creditcard.php');

if (!$cookie->isLogged())
   Tools::redirect('authentication.php?back=order.php');

$creditcard = new CreditCard();
echo $creditcard->execPayment($cart);

include_once(dirname(__FILE__).'/../../footer.php');

?>

In "header.php" I can see that (the same as the rest of Prestashop) it seems to be usin Smarty to set directories and paths but for some reason, the credit card module isn't triggering this the be https: for some elements even though most other pages use https just fine.

Now unfortunately, I don't know enough about php or smarty to figure this out on my own, but I think that the way that the Credit Card module gets this header code and displays it somehow isn't triggering Smarty to use "https://" and instead only "http://" is being used? I've tried manually editing the header code to "hard-code" "https://" into it, but that seems to cause other problems.

I also think it has something to do with the newest updates to Prestashop because I have another, earlier, Prestashop installation on the same server and it doesn't cause these issues with the same credit card module.

In any case, I think it would be relatively simple for someone with more experience in php or who just know whats going on here to figure out why the Credit Card module is leaving parts of the page (header mainly as far as I can tell) with "http://" calls instead of "https://" - and hopefully update the module with a fix(!)?

Can someone help us all out please and look into this as it really is a big problem for some of us who rely on the credit card module working correctly. I, for one, would very much appreciate some help with this!

If I somehow figure it out, I will of course update...

Thanks and hope I made sense.... :-)

Hi guys, I'm having the issue of when you click "pay without creating an account" it takes you to a page with name: address: telephone number: etc...but there is no email field? Therefore when an order is made, it randomly generates a yahoo email address? I'd much rather that it saved the persons email address, as if I need to contact the person about the order I don't have it?

I've attached a screenshot to explain what I mean better than I can with words :)

Should the module not come with an "email address" field by default? Can't believe nobody else has not mentioned this issue that I can see! NO doubt i've just installed it wrong..

Any ideas or suggestions really appreciated,

And thanks ox40 for such an awesome module - makes our lives 10000x easier (once they're working properly :) )

Thanks for the spam, MickA

ON a related matter, I've noticed a few problems with this module with version 1.2.5

* It does not seem to work anymore - clicking "Submit Order" only reloads the credit card page
* There are broken images, both in the front-end and admin, presumably to display credit card icons (I'm not using friendly URLs)
* There is terrible lag when accessing the admin of the module, presumable of the redirect (not sure why that's there - check for new version, maybe)... Perhaps this should be removed or changed to manually check the version...

The module installs fairly straightforwardly, I wonder if I'm missing something - has anyone else experienced it not working with PS version 1.2.5 and/or got the images all working for it?

Thanks for any feedback :-)

Hi,

Is there an update to this credit card module for the latest svn prestashop files?

I got a database error on the install and also get this error after clicking configure:

It seems the http://ox40.us/ is gone now.

Thank you!

Would you be so kind to let us know where one may find or down load the update patch.

Wholesale stainless all clad cookware for your kitchen!

Hi there,

In answer to your question - suck it and see !!

Back up your system and data base - very important.

open up the credit card folder from zip file. (see 1st post for the file)

Transfer the folder and content to the module folder of your working Prestashop.

Use a FTP prgramme that allows you to change the file permissions - and change the folder and all file in the folder to 777

(please note we did this only to ensure no errors would be present when we move to the next satge due to file permission errors)

Go to you back office and to modules.

Add the module you just added and install it ( please not you may need to do this twice as the 1st time nothing seems to show)

You may get an error message showing that the module did not intall correctly.
go back to the module and click configure - then

require CVC = TRUE (click submit)

Currencies Choose currency (then click Update Settings)

when the page re-configures you should not see the original error message at the top of the page.

********************

We now surgest you perfor test by using you own credit card to buy goods. (of course no money will be charges as this is a manual system)

Also note - Some pictures may not be showing - we are not sure why at this time - but presume, like you from reading all the page there is a patch - but we can not find it at them moment.

*******************

When you complete your first order - again in the BO go to Orders - the order should be higlighted in Green - click on it - the new page opens with the order - look to the right of the page and see "credit card information" click on this and the CC information you just put in your order should show there.

Also note anothe image is missing to the left of the same page - but you can add your own image in the control button stauses (on same page jusr above the words "Credit card information"

Good luck with you install - please let us know if it works and if you ever get the imagaes to show correctly

Kind regards

Hi again,

We have doubled checked the previous messages here and found the patch on message 320 we have applied the patch and can confirm that the images now work in the front office as they should.

The offline credit card function is now working normally for us on our two PS shops sites - we are currently using PS 1.2.4.0 - 0.415s

We have included the patch below for those persons still trying to find it.

OFFLINE CREDIT CARD PATCH SHOWN BELOW

Kind regards to all who helped us and also the originator of the Module who made this facility FREE for all to use.

Ian

Hello all,

and thank you for this mod,

I really can't understand how to change Months (January, February, March,...) in Number of months (01, 02, 03,...),

Can someone tell me how to do that and where is the file to edit ?

Best regards,

Hey guys, I just wanted to touch base here, as I had all but forgotten about this module!
This module is currently UNSUPPORTED! I hope to someday post a new, remanufactured version with bug fixes included, however I have absolutely zero time in the day to do it. I appreciate all the community support on this thread, please keep it up.

hopefully some day a new version will appear :)

Hey kevin, this sounds like a great module and i'd jump at the chance to include it, but unfortunately i am using Prestabox, and as i have found out through the forum, i can't add 3rd party modules or access my site via FTP either. maybe one day prestabox users will get the same back office and options as prestashop users.

Hello.

Edit: I re-installed a test shop and now i see where the credit data is shown i B.O.

I have skimmed trough the whole thread but im not getting sure about one thing.
Where will the shop owner get the card information, is it in the back office, or will it be sent to shop owners mail?
I installed it in a test shop but couldn't find the card info after placing a test order. Could be that my test shop have a broken file or so, so i would be happy to get the info so i can be sure.

Thanx in advance.
Peter

Hi,

I have applied the patch but still the admin "Awaiting Credit Card Validation" icon is still missing.

I have set the creditcard module to 777 also.

The view source shows:

12.gif

Awaiting Credit Card Validation
This is the wrong graphic. It should be 1.gif as there is not a 12.gif.

Can someone please advise?

Thank you!

We are trying to offer free resources to our returning customers. However, when checking out a free, downloadable product, it is still asking for their credit card payment information. Is there a way to get around this with the module? Does Prestashop allow for free products?

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. I had the checkout process configured to skip the payment method choice step since I only had one method. When this was restored to default, the free downloads function as expected.

Regarding the image not showing up in FO, you need to add some code.

In the modules/creditcard/ folder open payment_execution.tpl

Go to line 72 (approx)

Find this code

change the code so the src is your complete domain, like this:

Or further down the code there is another image which is coded like this

So that might work as well (would be better for universal use), i suppose it had a problem reading the image from the directory with just /modules etc. Hope this is clear enough for people.

p.s sorry if this has been covered but I didn't have time to read through all 26 pages.

I was testing this out earlier, and I just have a question about how it verifies the card.

I thought since it was offline, a user would just be able to enter random numbers to test.
How does this module verify if the card is valid?

It uses Javascript validation. Look in modules/creditcard and open functions.js. In here you can see all the rules it places on the Credit Cart number and how it detects what type of card is being used based on the first 4 numbers.
