homepage layout editing?

Hi guys,

Just installed the RC5 version. I was wondering where do you edit the homepage layout? I searched the tpl files but didnt find anything. The index.tpl is like almost empty.

A first glance and I have just downloaded and have began to analyze this piece of software so bare with me if I am wrong.

You can get the high level layout of the complete home page by looking at 2 files from under your current theme, header.tpl and footer.tpl.

Assuming you are using the default Pretashop theme you will find these files under the following directory starting from your store root

themes/prestashop

Combining both files you get to see the commented areas along with their corresponding hooks.

Actually i'm looking to edit the layout between header and footer.
