Transfer database info from 1.3.7 to 1.6.0.9

I need to know rates from someone with good skills to transfer customer, orders etc infos from a 1.3.7 store to a new built 1.6.0.9

Anyone who has the skills and want to do it?

Hi, that I dont understand what you ment with?

 

We cloned the live store in May, put the clone on a dev server, upgraded the clone and started to rebuild the clone, now the clone is ready to go live with but we need to transfer all the things that happen on store since May to the new one.

I think there are some modules that help you migrating from old versions to 1.6 (module, this is not mine...! no ads!).

Otherwise I do not see so many options...- I could be wrong! - You'll have to manage it manually...

The main problems while performing a major upgrade are the theme and the third-party modules. Especially the theme: You can make sure you'll need to throw it to the basket from 1.3.7 to 1.6. With such a distance between the versions, this also goes for the modules.

 

So, the best way for your case would be to use a third-party solution as @NyuTek mentioned, but it won't still be enough. Yes, you'll be able to recover all your existing data, yet any possible third-party modules won't work anymore and God knows if they are still maintained since 1.x times. Then, you might think of a solution with a brand new theme with possible 3rd party updates in combination with an exporter/importer module.
