Firstname Lastname in contact email

Recommended Posts

Hello,

When the shop contact form is used, the email that is sent to the shop admin looks like this ...

Hi {firstname} {lastname},

You have received a message from a customer via your shop: XXXXXXXXXXX

Details of message:

E-mail address: XXXXXXXXXX

Message:

XXXXXXXXXXXX

XXXXXXXXXXXX powered by PrestaShop™

Although I have all the details entered in the shop backend, I have no idea how to display Hi {firstname} {lastname} correctly. I can't imagine I'd need to start changing template files or do I ? Suggestions much appreciated.

Hi Chris,

For the tag cloud - check this out.

I also have 2 employees - though only 1 has the same address as the e-mail address in the contact form.

I just noticed - I dont have names, why do you need that in a contact message from a customer?

Ahh, sorry, not explained very well - This is about the formatting of the email I receive which looks like below :

--------------------

Hi {firstname} {lastname},
You have received a message from a customer via your shop: XXXXXXXXXXX

Details of message:

E-mail address: XXXXXXXXXX

Message:

XXXXXXXXXXXX

XXXXXXXXXXXX powered by PrestaShop™

---------------------

I'm assuming the {firstname} {lastname} should be populated with the name used in the contact or employees tab
