Hi there,

I am very new to this system and have my own problems here however I believe what you are seeing is fixed by adding:

to your footer.tpl

Place it just above:

 {$HOOK_FOOTER}

Outcome should look like this:

            {$HOOK_FOOTER}

As I said, I am new to Prestashop so I apologise if I am wrong however this is something I encountered earlier and this seemed to fix it.

Please forgive me if I am incorrect and if anyone more experienced out there finds I am wrong, please correct this.

Richard.

Hi,

edit your homefeatured.tpl files :

Change values of :

{assign var='liHeight' value=360}
{assign var='nbItemsPerLine' value=4}

change to
{assign var='nbItemsPerLine' value=2}

and increase the value of liHeight if necessary.

hi atch,

Thank you so much for help,I applied correct the problem they say, but this time the top slide in the footer stays far below.I tried the number to 3 below, except a slight shift seems seamlessly.

Thank you Mobius2000,I had previously applied already, but they say, did not fix anything.If the values given in the file global.css px clear, but perhaps it may be time.;)

Hi,

I seem to have the same problem with the footer missplacement in IE7, but I don't quite get your answer Atch (probably because I am very new to Prestashop).

So I wonder - which are the "homefeatured.tpl files"? I can't find any files named like that in my theme folder. Is it perhaps a group name for several tpl-files?

How come the problem appears only in Internet Explorer 7?

I would be very grateful for any help or input on this subject.

Cheers

Rob

Alright, I found "homefeatured.tpl" and made the suggested changes, but the only result was that the layout of the featured products got messed up. The footer stays in the same position, right under the first row of featured products (I have 12 featured products arranged in 3 lines). The footer should of course appear below all the featured products.

I want to underline that the problem occurs only in Internet Explorer 7 and possibly Internet Explorer 8 (I haven't verified that yet). In Firefox, Opera and a few other browsers everything is fine.

I would really appreciate some help here. Does anyone have a clue?

Thanks!
