Remove shop name from Title tags in PS 1.6.0.5.

How do I remove the shop name from the title tags? I use PS version 1.6.0.5....

at the moment prestashop doesnt allow to disable shop name in shop title

That tutorial works fantastically. I got a question about what appears on SERP. When I search it on Google, what appears is like:

Shop Name: Meta Title

 

I would like to remove that shop name in Google SERP because it's cutting the Meta Title. When I remove that - Shop Name as written in the tutorial, is it also fixing that one?

Hello,

You would need to override few Prestashop core classes. There are few tutorials out there showing how to remove the title from the meta. Just google : "prestashop remove shop name from title".

I've edited my meta.php override file - but it doesn't work

my website is : www.cdsoft.co.il for example - my category page is :https://www.cdsoft.co.il/index.php?id_category=726&controller=category&id_lang=1

and my sub-category page is : https://www.cdsoft.co.il/index.php?id_category=209&controller=category&id_lang=1
