Hello

This is based on PS 1.6.0.5

All you need to do is go to:

Back office 》 Modules 》Front office features 》 Top horizontal menu 》 Configure

Here you can "add, delete, move any and all links.

Obviously if you want to a new category/CMS page you need to create first in the normal way.

You can also add a new link by adding a lable (name) and then add a link for this name.

Just use the box above this to add/move your links in the top navigation bar.

Hi.

Like DevHQ, I am just now going in and making all these changes. It seems like you have to go in and choose which modules you want, where you want them, and then go to the module either under MODULES or THEMECONFIGURATOR and then configure each one. There are many - the first two of which DevHQ mentioned, but there are dozens more as far as I can tell.

Perhaps someone (Paulito?) can help me with a question about these modules.

When I go to Preferences--Themes and edit my theme (which is called HPLshoptheme, a copy of the default-bootstrap theme), there is a section called Appearance of Columns where (supposedly) you can choose what will appear in the left and right columns. Many times I tried to make modifications, but it never seemed to make any changes on the site.

Recently I found a place under Modules--Positions that has a section called displayLeftColumn and displayRightColumn. I discovered that if I change the order of the modules under displayLeftColumn, the changes are actually made to my site. But I don't know how to ADD a module. There are no modules under dsplayRightColumn, but I would like several modules to appear there. They only appear under displayLeftColumn. I know how to remove them from there, but I'm hesitant to do so until I know how to add them someplace else.

There doesn't appear to be any correlation between the modules chosen to appear under the HPLshoptheme Appearance of Columns and the displayLeftColumn or displayRightColumn under Modules--Position.

How do I add modules to a column?

Also - can anyone explain why there is a long list of modules under displayHeader, but none of those modules appear in the header on my site. (I don't want them, of course, but I'd like to understand why they are listed but don't appear.

Thanks

CJ

Hello

It seems you need to transplant a module so, go to:

Back office > Modules > Positions > click Transplant a module

http://screencast.com/t/vbXDBIDsu7r1

Find the module you want to move

Find the "Hook" you want to use

For example the Free html block by Vekia

Paul - you are absolutely terrific. That's exactly what I needed! I was wondering what "transplant a module" meant.

DevHQ - for your images, either hover or right mouse on the broken link icon so that you can see where the image is supposed to be. Then use FTP or WebDAV to look to see if the image is actually there.

If the file appears to be there, then something else is the issue. Look at the dimensions of the image - perhaps it is too big for the space and the module is choking when it tries to upload it.

I'm also unsure what you mean by "I saved it in admin page". There are many different ways to upload an image and several different "About Us" pages, so the issue could be specific to the WAY you uploaded it or which CMS module use are using. Could you be more specific about exactly what you did to upload it, which module you are using, etc.?

(It is also helpful if you sign your post so that we don't have to call you by your username)

It's a module called FACEBOOK BLOCK and you need to configure yours (with the name of your facebook page) so that it will appear.

There is also a SOCIAL NETWORKING block which just puts a simple "Follow us on Facebook" (you have yours just after your newsletter)

and a SOCIAL SHARING block which allow customers to share a product with others.

All three need to be configured.

Peace
