Auto log out issue on prestashop 1.6

Hi there,

 

I am familiar with many CMS , but not so much with prestashop. I encounter a weird issue on prestashop 1.6. during template installation and even during navigation in the BO: it keeps login out. This is weird and I can not use presta 1.6 as it even logs out during template installation.

 

I ve seen on the net that in some cases, it was an exisiting issue on previous versions, and code modification was necessary, but I found no solution for 1.6. Did anyone encounter this issue? Can anyone help?

No, i dont have dynamic IP. I tried switching off the firewall which helps with the sessions auto log out, but not for the theme installation for some reason.

I imagine installing a theme on prestashop works on the same principle as in wordpress or Joomla? If so I really don t understand.

 

I install the theme up to 100%, and then, when i refresh there is nothing on the theme page, neither in the theme folder (ftp). I want to install Zensation (themeforest) which is rated 5 stars and 1.6 compatible, so I really don't see where the problem comes from... Any idea anyone?

with xtendify express cache and media server

 

there are more posts on this problem, none with a working solution....
