How to modify a new database column in tax_rules_group table

Hi I'm just starting coding in prestashop and I added a field in the tax_rules_group table and i just can't figure out how to be able to modify the value using the taxe rule page or the modify .

I was able to add a column that shows the proper icon (rex X for 0 and green cheked for 1) but when i click on the icon to change the value, it just don't update the value in the DB.

 

I've been searching around for a long time now I I really need some help.

Well I had forgotten to declare a public variable for my field.

solved
