Editing Meta tags in Categories

Hi I am using Prestashop 1.6.0.6 and  I am trying to edit my Meta Information for my website for Seo reasons and everytime i add the meta title, discription, keywords and try to edit my friendly URL it will not Save and i can not change anything. any help with this would be great thank you.

please turn on error reporting,

i suppose that you encountering some kind of troubles with DB (database)

so, if you turn on error reporting - you will see log related to DB (i hope so!)

prestashop above v1.5.3

open: config/defines.inc.php

 

find this line: define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', false);

change to look like this: define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true);
