Skimblet
Hi, I am wondering if anybody can help out???? I am trying to setup multistore using a domain and a subdomain both on the same server. Do I need to install PS on both? as I thought the whole point was to use a single installation. I have followed the instructions and have set the name etc in a PS installation yet when I go to the subdomain it just gives me a 403 error, do I need to redirect or something? TIA

TIA Hi, I am also trying something similar. May I know why you want to add the second store in a sub domain? because if your server offers a redirection rule then you can have both stores on the same server. DrunkBug
In your main site's <VirtualHost> directive, for ServerAlias, you have to put your subdomain. And remove any other <VirtualHost> directives, that defines your subdomain. Or, another solution would be to change your subdomain's <VirtualHost> DocumentRoot to point to your main site's folder. Those directives should be in httpd.conf or in httpd-vhosts.conf file, depends on your configuration.
