override product preferences

Hello,

I need override Preferences > Product in Back Office for add new option to pagination, like "Hide Products without image from home page" or some similar...

 

Which files I need to override this?

by homepage you mean home featured products? or what?

im asking because it's a bit more complicated

 

to override this section you have to modify AdminPreferencesController located in controllers/front directory

I need modified

• New arrivals (This is the most important for now)
• Popular
• Best Sellers

I need show first the products that have image in this tab... It is possible hide from home page...

Also I'm going need add an option in Preferences > Product for control this action....

so in this case you will need to modify:

 

- AdminPreferencesController

 

and three modules:

- block new products

- block best sellers

- home featured products

I have been reading the blocknewproducts php and tpl files but I didn't found the code that generate product that show in home page...

products that you see in block new products are selected with this code:
