Create attachments for my user?

I'm trying to figure out from scratch how I can get a process that will allow my account users to attach a file or image to his account and upload it to me.

 

Is that possible does anyone know how to do this?

 

So the algorithm would be [simplified]

1. User logins to his account

2. User goes to his personal information

3. User clicks on a button uploading his [id or other files scanned document]

4. And once it's uploaded I can check out/verfiy his status

 

-Any help how to get this accomplish would be great :]

Would basic contact form works in your case? It allows users to attach files. For using this method you must enable file attach function in BO: Customer->Customer Service->Contact. By this way login is not needed. 

 

I use purchaced template with 1.5.5.and contact form was included as a default (i think it's default in PS anyway) .
