Allan1976 Posted October 18, 2009 Share Posted October 18, 2009 I need some help with the new site Paul set it up and i started with some thing like this http://www.prestashop.com/demo/ i have add all the new items and all the new pages and yes its an editor but there is a lot more on it then Mr Sites editor.So as i cannot get hold of Paul i though i would ask here i hope someone can help.1) I can not get my FTP to work with prestashop (i have tried all the combinations but it will not work) 2) All the URLs say some thing like this http://www.specialpersonalisedgifts.co. ... ategory=39 but this one should say something like this http://www.specialpersonalisedgifts.co. ... nnie_Gifts and yes i have all the setting right in the editor.I hope someone can help.ThanksAllan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

chineseboy Posted October 24, 2009 Share Posted October 24, 2009 Hi Allen. Are you sure you have all the information correct when your using FTP? Are you sure your username and password are correct? What FTP client are you using? I was using Filezilla before and it was always failing to transfer the files. I siwtched to Core FTP and now it transfers every file every time.I'm not sure what you meant about the second part of your problem. Do you mean that a link on your page is wrong? Did you ever thing that maybe posts dont get answered because people don't know the answer?This is a Prestashop forum not an FTP client forum, have you asked your host for help? have you actually created an ftp login for your server?
