Problem with language pack and edititng the translation

Hi.... I have several problems:

I installed the latest version 1.2.4 recently. Everything went well but the language pack import. We are talking about the Estonian language...which I donwloaded from the offical prestashop website and which had the date 14/10/2009....So I guess it should be OK for 1.2.4 ? Anyway...after creating the new language and importing it...I get the message:

How can I fix the problems ...or WHERE exactly ?

Problems with access give these kind of errors, it could be something else. If these files exist in the language pack and you get this error I'd think you don't have write permissions.

Also I checked if I have the writing permissions...and everything was on 777...so that one should be ok.

But I could not find the things that should be in the mail folder ?!?! Does it mean that they are not translated yet ?

I checked the language file and all files (including mail folder) exist. You can copy them manually and then add the language in the back-office.

Also, Prestashop seems to search for ee while it should be et (iso code for estonian). So i'd suggest to do it manually.

DONE! The solution was actually so easy! The name of the language pack is et.gzip....but prestashop shows that the code for Estonia is ee, which actually is the right one....the only thing I had to do was to change the country code from ee to et. PROBLEM SOLVED!

ISO 639-1 says et(-EE).
Doesn't matter as long as it works though.

ANOTHER PROBLEM:
If I go to Back Office > Tools > Translations and If I want to modify for example the translation for Front Office in estonian... There are some things missing...not many but still...and if I add the missing word and press "Update translations" it directs me back to Translations page and if go again to modify Front Office translations my modifications ARO NOT THERE....and it even said before that the update was successful...any ideas ??

Okey... does the PS team confirm that this is a bug ? Anyway... I translated 500 phrases and then it was gone...you can probably imagine my disappointment :D:D

Whats the best way to manually translate? You use notepad?

i use Scite (Scintilla) download It's simple like notepad, but has tabs, syntax styling for php, css, xhtml, etc. and error indicators.

About Scite...If there is a translation $_MODULE['<{blocksupplier}prestashop>blocksupplier_ecf253735ac0cba84a9d2eeff1f1b87c'] = 'KƵik tarnijad'; it should be 'Kõik tarnijad' .... Does it mean that if I want to translate something that has letter like ä,ö,õ or ü ...I need to put something like Ƶi instead of it ?
