Prestashop Error for 1.5.6.2

Hi, I am hoping someone (a Presta Expert) can help me with this.

 

I did a clean install of Prestashop and after making all my changes, I imported my categories and stores etc, with no problems.

 

Then when I uploaded my products via CSV Import, i experienced some errors related to my import file (seems there are extra product fields in 1.5.6.2)

 

I went to the Product pages and DELETED all the products... but received an Unspecified Error.

 

Now when I try to upload my Products, most are Ok but I get errors for 30 of them.

 

I looked at the SQL tables and found the following tables had entries with product id's, but all products should have been deleted.  ( I looked through the product related tables and the category related tables)

 

ps_category_product has 334 entries

ps_product_supplier has 108 entries

ps_product_tag has 674 entries

 

The other ps_category_******** tables and ps_product_********** tables are all empty.  (I think these are the only ones associated with the products)

 

So, can I simply delete all the records from those 3 tables, or do I risk making things worse?

I deleted the entries and so far no negative effects.  Go for it!
