mohsart Posted October 12, 2009 Share Posted October 12, 2009 I have a couple of search issues, using "search" at the top of the page...I have a couple of books on my site titled "Lee Chang Ho's ..." but if I search for "Lee" (or "Lee ", "Lee Ch", "Lee Chang", etc) nothing comes up.A search for "Chang" shows the books though. As do "Ho".A search for "The" shows none of the books which titles begin with "The".A search for "Tes" shows the book Tesuji, so it seems not to be an issue with searching for the beginning of the title...This is both confusing and irritating, as is the problems to search for search issues on this forum - lots of hits, but nothing that has to do with searching.../Mats Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rocky Posted October 12, 2009 Share Posted October 12, 2009 It sounds like you need to adjust your search settings. Go to Preferences > Search. You will notice that the word "the" is blacklisted. Also, the minimum word length is 3. Perhaps if you remove "the" from the blacklist and decrease the minimum word length to 2, then click "Re-build entire index", you will get more satisfactory results.
