Wamp install failed at 34% - populate database tables

Hello

 

I'm having problems installing clean version of 1.5.6.1 on my local wamp test server.

 

Install gets to 34% and

 

Create settings.inc file - done

Create database tables - done

Create default shop and languages - done

Populate database tables - failed

 

An error occurred during the installation...

 

I've tried several times, and one occassion failed one step earlier at the shop/language step

 

I've previously installed 1.5.6.0 ok, and same with earlier versions.

 

My wamp setup on Windows 7 64 is:

 

Apache 2.2.21

MySQL 5.5.16

PHP 5.3.8

 

Any ideas?

Checked logs folder and all entries report:

 

ERROR 2013/12/16 - 12:21:42: Shop not found at line 389 in file classes/shop/Shop.php

 

Any help?

Hi redactuk, I would simply download the latest file again and reinstall. What local are you using? Wamp works find for me. These two blogs should help out http://blog.dh42.com/installing-prestashop-locally/

This could happen in newer versions too, i was trying to install Prestashop 1.6 in WAMP with PHP version 7.1, the solution is to set PHP version to 5.6.
