How to add my own payment method?

Hallo all of you,

 

If people buy from my site they can only chose PayPal and bank transfer.

But I want something else.

Is there a way or module so people can choose to receive an mail with the payment details?

So with information to complete the payment.

 

I hope someone can help me.

payment modules usually send information about order and selected payment. (prestashop also has got ability to send emails)

can you shed some light what payment method you exactly expect?

When buyers can chose Paypal or bank transfer I want another option.

This option:

When people chose this option they automatically receive an mail with information to complete the payment (bank info, number, etc.)

yes, i understand.

you have to modify modules core (php files, especially order validation function)

add there mail function and create mail template file

 

there is no other way to achieve what you expect

You could create your own additional payment methods with this module for example: [MODULE][FREE] Universal Payment Module

 

But I'm not sure how easy it would be to setup a system for automatically mailing the customer the payment details after he "paid" with this custom payment method...

What about if I want to add an option to record payments done with a Mobile Credit card Terminal, just to record the sale in prestashop. how can I do that

you will need to elaborate on what you are trying to accomplish.

Hello everyone,

I want to add a custom payment method, that when clicked, redirects you to a form that needs to be filled. I have created the module and the form, but cannot seem to make the redirection. 
can anyone help?
