Database optimize module

free module for optimizing database of your prestashop store.

This free addon and decreases your website load time. How it works?

PrestaShop stores a lot of unnecessary informations in database, this module allows to clean all unwanted informations, like abandoned carts, connections informations, guests informations etc.

unitekhub is a bit slow so i installed there and cleaned things  till now havent seen any changes hope it helps.

 

manufacturer carousel  module is responsible for its slowness ..the moment i disable it runs fast..

i need to edit things there.

No it wait for alomost 4.3 seconds to get connected every thing is fine.

i am seeing  some modules which creates ($Get) field from admin and not from its own makes site slow.

note:its just a doubt by testing modules.

and example med_contactable module it creates label for name email message from back end controller.

this module clean databases for:

 

- guest informations

- abandoned cart informations 

- statistics

 

if you remove these datas, you will lost:

statistics, abandoned cart

 

 

if you are worries - you can always backup your database before clean

I leave here the translation into Portuguese for your module, made in version 1.4.10

looks good, but it should not delete the statistics of how many visitors the site already has, neither carts delivered orders, etc..

sounds strange because it is developed on ps 1.5.5

 

can you turn on error reporting and then  you will se what and where doesnt work:

 

open config/defines.inc.php

 

find this line

define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', false);

change to look like this:

define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true);

I can not install it in PS1562. Not via BO nor via FTP. It does not show in BO/modules.

Hello Vekia,

Thank you very much for this module. It's work fine in my ps1.4.9.

Just I would like to know how I can keep the last ID_cart of database (or how I can replace by the last value after run your module) because I see that the Id_cart return to number 1 and when a guess add a article to the cart the database associate  Id_cart with the old Id_order.

Have you got a idea?

To solved this problem I need to find the last id_cart used in my backup mysql of PS (I added 10 of  the number; for exemple [690 + 10=700])

I opened my mysqladmin interface and open 'ps_cart' table. I run this sql request :

ALTER TABLE `ps_cart` AUTO_INCREMENT =700

Now the problem is solved.

- added new better support of prestashop 1.6.x
