If i block 100 or so countries from Geolocation ,Is there any impact to site speed ?

I sell stuff only in italy and switzerland ,so i'm think about blocking most of other countries (except google bots ip)

 

Is this practical ?

 

I want to block certain countries (100 if i can) and unwanted bots ,is this slow down my website ? what are the pros and cons ?

 

 

I get bruteforce attacks to my server every day (mainly from China ,USA and India) my firewall stop them but i can't block countries without slowing down the server and i don't worry too much about the server.
