[solved] installed contentbox module and modules tab is white - empty! [urgent]

i installed free module contentbox and i've got empty white page in the back office, modules section doesnt work at all. HELP PLEASE IT IS URGENT

turn on error reporting in your prestashop, then refresh "modules" tab in your back office, if any error appear, please paste it here

Open the modules/defines.inc.php - you are looking for something like I posted below:

 

/* Debug only */
define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', false);

you have to change it to:

 

/* Debug only */
define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true);

well, i don't know what you exactly expect? You want to fix this module or you want to bring back your modues tab ?

You probably need to delete it first. Where did you get this module from? How did you install it (back office zip?)

 

Paste the Error code in here and we can take a closer look.

i downloaded this module from url that I found somewhere in spanish forum, i don't remember well where.

just follow the Benjamin suggestion, remove it from FTP, from the directory: /modules/

search for contentbox directory and remove it

i have the same problem but the module contentbox directory is not present in the folder module...

it's probably because the problem is somewhere else.

please turn on error reporting, then you will see what exactly doesnt work (and in what file)

 

to turn on error reporting follow this:

open config/defines.inc.php

 

find this line define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', false);

change to look like this: define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true);

i just can remove it

i copying twice the folder module on my ftp and he ask me he was appear! i will try an other module, if i can find it i will try your method to resolve the bug
