jcota
I have uploaded a new theme to my prestashop/themes folder via FTP.I made sure it was unzipped and everything. For some reason, it does not show up as an option under >appearances in my back office.Only the default "prestashop" theme does.Did I do something wrong? Thanks!Kristin
Patric
Verify if the file preview.jpg exists in this new theme. If not, copy it from another theme, for example the default theme.

SteveM
I just made a copy of the default prestashop theme so I could begin work on my own design.I copied the prestashop folder from the themes folder and pasted it back in the same folder with a new name of mytheme.I then logged into the back office and navigated to Preferences > Appearance but only the original prestasop them was displayed.I checked that preview.jpg was present in the mytheme folder.Any ideas?Did I Miss a step?Cheers,Steve

SteveM
Patric,Thanks for the suggestion, but it did not work.I also tried renaming the original prestashop theme to something else, but the change was not reflected on the Apperances tab.BTW I'm using Version 1.2.2.0 - 0.037s on my local machine (windows7) with Wamp Server.Cheers,Steve
Patric
And if you try to rename the copy to "prestashop", can you see it ?
SteveM
Patric,Don't you ever sleep!Nothing changed when I renamed the orginal prestashop folder to prestashoptest, it just displayed as prestashop in the Apperances tab. I did rename prestashoptest back to prestashop but again nothing changed.Or did you mean the entire installation?Steve
SteveM
Patric,I apologize for wasting your time.I had made the copy from prestashop that resided in my IIS7 folder and not my Wamp folder.Everything works now.Cheers,Steve
