wowslider in prestashop, is it posssible?

Hello forum, I'd like to install wowslider into my site's home page or into the Home text editor, is this possible, and how. Maybe someone can suggest a similar alternative slider or a free slider.

you can use nivo slider, that is also free. if you want to use nivo slider in place of homeslider than got you your theme

 

themes->mytheme->modules->homeslider->homeslider.tpl

 

and change markup like the plugin need and load the js and it will work.or you can use cameraslider for presashop which is free . you can search on google and find that.

What I need is a slider that does not stretch my images and gives me a color option for the left and right blank spaces. I need a slider that preserves the aspect ratio of my images. Wowslider has all the options I need, but I don't know how to use it with Prestashop.

To use it with prestashop, the best way would be to create a module out of it, but of course you need to know the module API, especially how to deal with images. Otherwise, you can just drag and drop it in a template file, hardcoding the html part and manually chenaging it when required. Of course, you'd also need to hardcode javascript and css links
