Hi Lee,

You can do this from the back office of Prestashop. Go to localization > translations -> select installed modules from drop downlist -> select your language flag. Search for text you want to replace and enter your new text, then save. refer to attached screenshot.

Chris.

make sure that .tpl files aren't exist in the path:

/themes/YOUR_THEME/modules/cashondelivery/

where the YOUR_THEME is the name of the theme that you use.

if you see there .tpl files - it mean that your template override these files

Thanks! I was able to change the title of COD to Bank Deposit but there are still "Titles that are "COD".'

When I see the Payment History, it is still "Cash on Delivery", please see the attached files,

please let me know what files need to be updated.

in this case you have to edit orders database, by this i mean entries in the database. other way to achieve what you want doesn't exist.

in this case you have to open ps_orders table

you've got there "payment" column with values related to the payment methods that customer selected (in customers language)

you have to edit them manually

Hi,

I already see it, yes, from the database the Payment name is "Bank Deposit" so this is ok, but when the order was already sent to their email, there is this sentence "Payment: Cash On Delivery (COD)".Please see the file "Still Cash On Delivery_jpg". See also the PS_Orders_jpg".

I dont think we don't need to edit the PS_Orders table but please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi ~

in case of ps1.6.0.9

How about this way changing yourwebsite/Modules/cashondelivery/ translations / en.php

$_MODULE['<{cashondelivery}prestashop>cashondelivery_1f9497d3e8bac9b50151416f04119cec'] = 'Cash on delivery (COD)';

to

$_MODULE['<{cashondelivery}prestashop>cashondelivery_1f9497d3e8bac9b50151416f04119cec'] ='whatever you want to write'
