Cart Block problem

Hi,

 

using Prestashop for the first time. (version 1.5.4.1), I have in fact 2 questions/problems:

 

1) I wanted to use the free theme VelvetSky, but I didn't succed to configure it correctly with their documentation. If anybody successfully configured this, would be great to get some help.

 

2) Meanwhile, I uninstalled it and reassigned the default theme, but even reordering the top an header modules didn't manage to show up the shopping cart again (also when adding a product to the cart).

2. it's probably because block user info was uninstalled from top position.

 

go to the modules -> positions search for "top" hook

does the block user info appear on the list?

 

if not, click on transplant button, select this module form list and attach it to the top hook

Under top of pages, I got 8 modules and the cart block is at the third position...can't fin any "user info block" or do you mean "my account blog"?

Apparently this module isn't there anymore...

Ah, wait.... I was ckecking my modules with ftp on ther server and copied the missing module(s)...now it's fine.

thanks for information that now it works well.

 

 

unfortunately i don't know this theme, so i can't help you with your first (1) issue.

maybe someone other know what's going on
