SALSERO76 7 Report post Posted May 5, 2013 (edited) Then I do the test online. When I insert load image from FTP and appoint nano-1 or 1-touch, no problem. If I name with other names I have the problem that does not display images. Now I do not know if it is a problem of DB or writing to file php --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok problem solved. I checked the db and image as well as not be loaded, is renamed. I solved it by replacing the name of the image in the db with that previously uploaded via FTP. nuttis 3 Report post Posted May 23, 2013 Hello I am gonna install the theme on my store now. But i just have a little question. Do i really have to unhook every modules before the installation? Even the ones from stats and admin? Can i hook them back after the installation? Anyone has tried with multistore? I am on 1.5.4.1 Thank you.
tpeigne 94 Report post Posted May 23, 2013 Hello nuttis, In fact you don't have to unhook all your modules. You can keep admin and stats modules installed, but if you want to install the theme on your main site, you will have to unhook front office default modules and replace them by those on the github repository. This is because i haven't redeseigned all the default modules but you can adapt them by editing .tpl files and adapt them in order to be responsive. My theme is compatible with multistore. For example on my test environment, i have one store with my theme and my modules installed on it and on a other store, i have installed the default theme and both work well ! Thanks ! sabrina_it 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 Very nice theme, thank you for sharing. I've installed today and everything is ok. I just noticed that the top bar is not in its correct position. That is, it should be located above the logo image. It's not a big problem, but if it would be upper, the page would be more graphically balanced. I've notice that rukristin has the same problem on his shop. Here's how I'm seeing now the new shop (the top bar is red rounded): Suggestions? Many thanks for attention! britalb 3 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 Thanks so much for this theme. It's a very useful place to start, and clearly you've put a lot of work into it. I'm using it as a base for a new theme. Like some of the other posters, I've had problems with the current code on the repository. I'll post my solutions to this thread as I find them. The first probably represents a feature still in beta, but the current template for the product page seeks to load an image type not generated by default - product_resp. In product.tpl, on line 187, replace <img src="{$link->getImageLink($product->link_rewrite, $cover.id_image, 'product_resp')}" {if $jqZoomEnabled}class="jqzoom" alt="{$link->getImageLink($product->link_rewrite, $cover.id_image, '')}"{else} title="{$product->name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" alt="{$product->name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" {/if} id="bigpic" width="450" height="450" /> with <img src="{$link->getImageLink($product->link_rewrite, $cover.id_image, 'large_default')}" {if $jqZoomEnabled}class="jqzoom" alt="{$link->getImageLink($product->link_rewrite, $cover.id_image, '')}"{else} title="{$product->name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" alt="{$product->name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" {/if} id="bigpic" width="450" height="450" /> If you have something in mind for this feature (responsive images?) please let us know. 1 tpeigne reacted to this
britalb 3 Report post Posted May 25, 2013 To fix JQZoom (which is broken by Foundation's maxwidth:100% CSS property), add the appropriate version following to simpleresponsivetheme/css/product.css: /*fix JQZoom (default library)*/ div.zoomdiv img { max-width:none; } /*fix jQzoom Evolution */ div.zoomWindow img { max-width:none; } For details about integrating JQzoom Evolution into Prestashop, visit http://www.zod.it/it/blog/prestashop-jqzoom-senza-thickbox-upgrade.html (It's in Italian. Google translate messes up the code, so you'll want to copy from the original.)
tpeigne 94 Report post Posted May 25, 2013 @sabrina_it hello sabrina_it and thanks for your comment, your problem is a module position problem. The module responsivetopbar is under the module responsivelinks. In the administration, in module positions section, switch the position between the 2 modules and it will fix your problem. For more help you can check the online documentation available here : http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Managing+Modules+and+Themes in the module position section. @britalb thanks a lot for your feedback it's cool! You're right for the image type. I have created a custom image type for the product page called product_resp, because the default image width and height for the product page is too small. So the solution for this bug is to create a custom image type called "product_resp" with 450 in height and 450 in width and available for the product page. I will update my readme file on github, but I can't right know, I will update the file next week. But you can fork me on github and suggest me an other version of the readme file! menhir 4 Report post Posted June 4, 2013 I have noticed that the image upload function in Responsive Slider don't work in my installation. When I create new images everything is saved (incl a new image file name) but the image is not uploaded to correct folder. Here is how I solved it: Create all images you want in the slider with text/url etc and don't mind that the image isn't shown. Open the front office page to view the slider. The slider will show "flying question marks". For each of the question mark images, right click on the image and select properties in the menu (different names depending on browser you use, but you will probably find it). In the properties window, copy the image file name. Find the image on your hard drive and rename it to the file name you copied in step 4. Redo step 3-5 for each image in your slider presentation. When done: Copy all the renamed image files to the folder /modules/responsiveslider/images and voila, the images are shown in both front and back office. Hope this will help if you get the same problem!
jadefoxx 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2013 Hi, I'd like to first say thank you for this excellent theme. However, I am encountering a problem with the responsive products featured module - I cannot set a number of products to display. If I add a new category, I can choose which category I need without problem, but I have this option 'choose your product page' which will only allow one choice, and I see no way to choose how many products display. As a result, even categories that have several products only display one on the homepage. I'm new to Prestashop so I'm sure it's something simple that I'm missing, but it's got my stumped. Advice would be most welcome!

I had the same question before, but the solution is simple: Add the same category again but with another product and the product will be added to the featured product part. It will not create several rows with same category but add the new product to the existing category row on the front office page. It is a free theme so I think we have to accept that everything isn't perfect. I, myself, am thinking about adding some kind of header saying that it is only featured product that is shown so customers don't think it's all products on the first page. 1 tpeigne reacted to this

I found the issue: the "ResponsiveSlider" module is using the PHP constant "__DIR__", which has only been introduced in PHP 5.3. If you are using an earlier version, you need to replace "__DIR__" with "(dirname(__FILE__)". Thus, there are two corrections to be done to files in the modules' folder, "modules/responsiveslider/": ajax.php -> line 12 should become if (ResponsiveSliderClass::deleteSlide(Tools::getValue('idSlide'), dirname(__FILE__))) { classes/ResponsiveSliderClass.php -> line 179 becomes $rep = dirname(dirname(__FILE__)).'/images/'; P.S.: thank you "tpeigne" for this nice simple theme, very useful for people new to themeing, like me Edited June 22, 2013 by nexor

Thus, there are two corrections to be done to files in the modules' folder, "modules/responsiveslider/": ajax.php -> line 12 should become if (ResponsiveSliderClass::deleteSlide(Tools::getValue('idSlide'), dirname(__FILE__))) { classes/ResponsiveSliderClass.php -> line 179 becomes $rep = dirname(dirname(__FILE__)).'/images/'; P.S.: thank you "tpeigne" for this nice simple theme, very useful for people new to themeing, like me Hello nexor ! Good point for you ! I didn't notice it because my PHP version on my prod/dev environment is upper than 5.2. I pushed a fix last friday and i now use the local_path var of the module class to find the module folder. This var is based on the _PS_ROOT_DIR_ which is defined in the defines.inc.php. #defines.inc.php $currentDir = dirname(__FILE__); if (!defined('PHP_VERSION_ID')) { $version = explode('.', PHP_VERSION); define('PHP_VERSION_ID', ($version[0] * 10000 + $version[1] * 100 + $version[2])); } /* Directories */ define('_PS_ROOT_DIR_', realpath($currentDir.'/..')); You can find the commit here : d28ccb95ea0f247d0a0127d4ad8ebadf455bf6d5 Thanks again ! hpiontek 2 Report post Posted June 26, 2013 (edited) Great theme, it was time to get a good substitute for my old 1.4.4.1 them after upgrading to 1.5.4.1 and this is perfect! I managed to install the theme on my testing environment en did all small changes and translations but 1 thing I can't figure out: 1) I've unhooked all frontoffice modules and the blockcart module is installed but when configuring the responsive top bar I still get this error: To activate the ajax cart, you have to place the blockcart module in your modules folder.f Any help would be much appreciated! --NEVER MIND!-- fixed it by getting the latest version of the top bar module after reading the PHP5.2 vs. PHP5.3 issue Edited June 26, 2013 by hpiontek

Thaks to all people for your comments, now i have this theme ok. But i would like to change or delete vertical bar on menu, because i need a large menu and i don't like how it looks... see the image, please... For rlearner: This theme you must upload manually by ftp. It's easy, but first deactivate front office modules, and when you upload the modules folder you must activate them. tpeigne 94 Report post Posted June 28, 2013 Hello ManOfHonor, The theme is a one column theme, so if you want your own 2 columns you have to develop it sorry ! In the next major update (no date fixed yet), the theme will move to a two comuns theme. This top menu come with the theme, the name of the module is responsivelinks, you can configure this module in the module section of your administration. hpiontek 2 Report post Posted July 1, 2013 (edited) Put the theme live yesterday in my shop and I think it looks great! There is a strange thing happening on some products pages that I would like to fix but I haven't got a clue what's the problem so any help is welcome! Some product pages load the default image directly and some do not (only when I hoover the mouse over one of the thumbnails. See this page where I get a question mark as a default image: http://metzon.nl/sol...e-iphone-4.html and this one where the default image loads directly upon accesing the page: http://metzon.nl/sol...waka-power.html Solved it already, just re-upload the images as the default image type for product pages is new! pinchupanchu 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2013 Hello pinchupanchu, is the content of the cart is still in the HTML and hidden or is it an other problem ? Thanks, tpeigne Hi easyvap, your problem is that you have mixed my CSS files from my theme and yours CSS files so the theme isn't displayed correctly. Check your CSS files and remove your custom CSS witch is applied to the top bar. Thanks, tpeigne I guess the content of the cart stays as in the default "simple responsive theme" . In this screenshot it's shown that the content of the cart appears when I disable the css rule "display: none" of the div "cart_block", but the cart still missing. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5-mK0qS-ihIbmtkSFhEaUV4Zk0/edit?usp=sharing Can it be a problem of my hosting provider? adriangillitt 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2013 Hi All, i have this theme installed and as everyone says is working very well. The latest question/problem i have encountered is with images, i thought i had it solved but it seems to have come back..... Anyhow in the product page there are thumbnails which all look great and then there is a large image above this, i thought this was defined as product_resp and i have created this with 450x450 pixels, however on certain images i have uploaded this image container looks blurred.... All the images i am uploading are typically 600x600. However if i click on the blurred image and it loads thickbox then the image is nice and clear again?? Let me know if i am missing something? tato_6_6_6 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2013 Hello good. first of all thank you for your theme I'm using for my new website and I have two questions. The first is to ask how I can remove part of Follow Us ... lower the bar because I've tried and I can not because I want to use another module for social networking. The second is to ask if I can remove the bottom text (Designed and Developed by Thomas Peigné, made with Foundation.) Or is mandatory to have it because I have not much idea and I would do the wrong thing. A greeting and thank you very much use a translator may not understand very well what I feel. vekia 8,770 Report post Posted July 11, 2013 i never tested this theme but I suppose that you should check modules added to the footer hook just go to the modules > positions search for displayFooter modulest list and check modules one by one
Later42 4 Report post Posted July 11, 2013 (edited) @vekia, I already tried to do that. The - in my opinion - sole module that could be responsible for those links would be the 'responsive links block' (also, see the pictures attached). Now, when I go into it's config under modules > modules, this is what I see (second picture). Nowhere in there can I edit the footer links. Do you have any other possible solutions?
