[Free Module] Moving Boxes - Yet another home featured module

Recommended Posts

Just a quick note to say I've released another "quickie" module for you all to play with. This one uses a technique from CSS Tricks and uses jQuery.

Free Moving boxes module

Yup it does. In saying that for designs that don't have the clutter of three columns it could be useful. You can also add more content to the template markup should you wish, and scale the whole thing by adjusting the css and a couple of variables in the [removed]cheese:

Hi Paul,

I like this module, but have a question.

Is it possible to remove the text under the pictures? I've managed to work out how to remove the word "Only" before the price, and also the frames around the items, but would like to remove all the text (the price and title/link) so all you see is the image. Is this at all possible?

I'm brand new to all this, so I don't really know all the ins and outs

Thanks
Kristal

Best regards.

Hi Paul,
Moving boxes is a very smart module to put in home page.
But i just had a problem with a JS conflict between it and the category sliding menu.

The sliding menu didn't appears anymore :-(
I was not the only one, than i give my solution here.

The module needs to hook on the header, then, If you just need the moving boxes on the home page, go to module configuration-> position when it's asks to hook on the header, put exceptions for the headers of products.php and category.php pages.
Like that, the conflict between the JS of movingboxes and sliding menu will be resolved
