Account Creation not working - There is 1 Error. An error occured while creating your account

Hello,

 

 

I have a Major Issue concerning the account creation, When i want to create an account on the website , i end up with this message :

 

"There is 1 error

An error occurred while creating your account.."

 

I have read that it might be because a phone number is required but I disabled it ... so I really have no idea what is going wrong on the website

PS : I already spent hours on forum seeing other people with the same problem but none of the solution worked until now ... Any suggestion will be most welcomed !

Did you found out why this is happening?

I work on 1.5.3.1 and it was fine but now I can not create any account becouse of this error.

I just figured it out and it was my fault... after some modifications I've uploaded wrong /classes/Address.php and /classes/Customer.php (from 1.5.4.1)... now I just uploaded the right one and its fine...

hi am new to prestashop.. am upgrading my site to 1.5.6 to 1.5.6 after upgrading unable to create an account am getting "An error occurred while creating your account". help me to solve this..

We had the same issue with Prestashop 1.4. We moved from one hosting to another. And when a client tried to register the following error popped up: An error occurred while creating your account..

In our case we came from MySQL and went to MariaDB. In the configuration STRICT_TRANS_TABLES was turned on. And by turning this off the issue was solved.
