Restricting a Module to Registered Customers Only

Hi...

 

I've got a couple of modules that I actually ONLY want displayed on my front page - well, all pages actually - to registered customers ONLY.

 

So, in essence, when a person hits my site, they won't see the module at all (it hooks to the right column of my theme). However, when they register and log in, then they will see the module hooked at the right column.

 

Is this possible? Surely it should be easy to only make a module (via its hooks) to be visible to 'registered' customers - similar to Joomla?

 

Hopefully I'm just missing a simple configuration somewhere, so I look forward to any advice that can help with this.
