trident
Using WAMP on local pc. Installed files from shop server to local PC all runs ok. Import Database, modify MD5 details as required and still ok.Install upgrade to 1.2, follow instructions - copy settings .inc file etc. Update works ok. Rename admin folder, now i can no longer login to admin. In IE7 it just comes back with blank login boxes. FF just comes back with login boxes populated but still failing.Think i've checked everything. Please, any advice??A
Patric
"modify MD5 details as required" : I don't understand that. Required where ?Try to empty your cache and cookie and log in again.
trident
Hi PatricIn V1.1, when i import the database initially, the login fails, so i use the MD5 hash link to recreate a new one. Modify relevant employee details with new MD5, login works ok.Then, follow upgrade procedure, go to admin login and thats where it appears to fail. can go no further. it seems to be stuck in a loop.I've cleared the cache and cookies in both IE and FF.Andrew
trident
HmmmOn local PC, running wamp with shop under wamp/www/myshop. I could login to adminInstall prestashop 1.2 to wamp/www/prestashop.Follow upgrade procedure all seemed ok. So i assume database was converted to v1.2. However, i can still login to myshop/admin with no problem. Yet i cannot login to prestashop/adminIf the database had converted correctly, would it allow v1.1 to still login?Going round in circles looking for solutions. Patric
You may have to edit your /config/settings.inc.php file to change the PS_BASE_URI constant according to current shop location. define('__PS_BASE_URI__', '/myshop/'); or define('__PS_BASE_URI__', '/prestashop/');
