problem with a lot of product combinations

Hi, I am having trouble adding more then 2 000 combinations so, I had an idea about adding them manuallly from mysql, because the combinations only include strings like, 10cm,20cm,30cm.. did anyone try this? I havent checked the code what is going on when we generate combinations but I dont know what to do to add those combinations.

I would suggest you look at the importfast module. It allows you to import massive amounts of products with different combinations and images for each one. It saved me TONS of hours of trying to do that manually. I assume if you wanted to use mysql you have a CSV or XML file? Works like a charm and the developer is great and easy to work with.
