Order of Cart Rules - Help needed

We need help on the order of the cart rules.

 

ie,

we have a solo kit for sale at 29.99, and if you add a liquid for 4.99 then we deduct the 4.99 (making the item free)

 

we are having a 20% sale on all orders over 30.00.

 

Now prestashop is seeing the 29.99 & 4.99 in the basket, calculating it to be over £30 and giving 20% discount before removing the 4.99 for the free liquid.

 

I have set the priority of the Free liquid (-£4.99) at 50,

and the 20% rule at 99.....

 

So I assumed it would remove the 4.99 then not give 20% because the total is now under £30.

I was wrong.

 

Is there any way to prevent this from happening ?

 

Any help is appreciated.

Cart rules order (or priority) seems to be broken at the moment, since they're applied simoultaneously. i guess we'll have to wait till they fix it (havent checked it for 1.5.4 yet)
