Working great on ps 1.4.8.2!

Advise: I meant the sidebar height setting cause the height of this stripe, but only change the paddig-top size of the text!

Thanks so much!

Same thing for me, height setting doesn't change the height of the sidebar. Sidebar border size do nothing I can see.

Hello Vekia,

Thanks for sharing this nice module.

Question,

The module is positioned at the bottom but on my template i already have some info at the bottom off the page and your module is covering that info now so your module should be under the last info off my template.

Which code must i add to solve this issue ?

Regards,

ysco..

http://www.gadgetshop1-online.nl/modules/hotinfo/css/hotinfo.css

.hotinfo_top {position:fixed; bottom:0px; height:50px; width:100%; z-index:999999999999999999; background:#FFF; border-top:1px solid #000;}
.hotinfo_top table {height:50px; border-collapse:collapse;}
.hotinfo_top table p {padding-bottom:0px;}

change z-index:999999999999999999; to z-index:1;

okay, but what you want to do, the main idea of this addon is to place fixed bar, and it is normal that it hides this par of the store, all you have to do - is to increase the margin-bottom (or padding) param for footer section

Hello Vekia,

NP Vekia, glad you understand what i try to accomplish.

I added your code in my theme editor to override the css and now it is working ;)

Only i have a small issue with my scroll to top that was on the right bottom side and is gone now.

Any suggestion for that ?

Thanks so far.

Regards.

Is there a way to make your module responsive ?

If i use some text and try it on a iPad then the text is a mess.

Maybe you have a suggestion, i know it is a free module but i thought i ask.

of course, it is possible. in this case you have to modify the module css styles

you have to define top:0px; and remove bottom:0px;

thanks. that does the trick. and it is good to change to border-bottom as well. thanks again!

It will be cool to have a "X" for closing in the right upper corner.Still a great module, thanks !

ok, i will add button to close floating bar.

one quesiton: if you will close it, you want to hide it permanently? i mean after page  refresh you want to display floating bar again? or hide it?

I think hiding it permanently during the entire stay on the site will be better.

Hey, at first I sent you link to wrong thread, I had problem with HTML block module, I asked how to add more than one custom block to the website and later I realized that there's pro version with no block limit for purchase, sorry for the confusion, I will think about upgrading the module to pro version :)

If I disable close on cookie bar it will make it like hot info bar. If possible i am l looking for 'x' close button on hot info bar so every time customer visit site hot info bar will show up and customer will have option close bar after reading message and again when visit site after 2 days or week the bar will show up with message as reminder to customer with option to close and continue shoping. Till I turn off bar from BO.

Or

If possible how to make cookie bar reappear evertime if customer visit site with option to close which cookie bar has. Till I turn off bar from BO.
