Prestashop installation on windows at home - folder permissions

Hi,

I am trying to install prestashop on my windows pc.

I have the following up and running
Apache Server
PHP
MySQL

I am stuck here

"While you have your FTP connected to your Web hosting server, make sure the following PrestaShop folders have ‘write’ permissions (also known as “CHMOD 777” – explanation of file permissions here) but do not apply these permissions recursively (to their subfolders): /config, /upload, /download, /tools/smarty/compile. Then make sure the following folders have ‘write’ permissions and apply these permissions recursively (to their subfolders): /img, /mails, /modules, /themes/prestashop/lang, /translations"

How do I set permissions under windows so I can access http://localhost/prestashop/install?

Do I set them in httpd.conf file under Apache?
or
Do I set them for each folder in Windows? If so, for which user?

Please help! Thank you!

Under localhost (Windows) I think you don't need to chmod. Normally the files attributes is -a(rchieve) and the install would run smoothly.
