Layered Navigation Module Never Finishes

Dear forum,

 

We have just upgraded our shop to the latest version (1.5.3.1). Everything seems to work just fine except for one thing: Layered navigation.

 

In the block layered module configuration we have clicked the first button (Indexing all missing prices).

 

It runs and runs but never finishes. I have tried to copy the shop to my local linux server. It also never finishes locally but the apache2 and mysqld tasks are busy on the server - still after running 24 hours. We only have 343 items in our store.

 

I've found the following in the apache log file:

If I run the missing price indexing on a site with just demo data, the module works fine. What could cause this behavior? Any ideas?

 

We sincerely hope for a solution because the functionality that this module provides is vital for our shop and it would be the last missing part.

P.S. At the same time we would like to congratulate the PS team. What an amazing CMS you've created, the 1.5.3.1 version is really impressive!

After click "Reset" on the module it now all of a sudden works..?! Weird. Anyways case closed.
