No Tax For Oversea Buyers Ps 1.4.8.2

Recommended Posts

I have set up 10% tax for all buyers and it was working fine for all time. Today I've just discovered that there is no tax for oversea buyers any more. It still applies to Australian buyers.

It was weird. Here is my shop and you can have a try: http://www.lovestation.com.au

I have checked my tax configuration and it show the tax is enable (payment->taxes)

Is there any where PS allows the tax applied depends on countries?

It is urgent, please help!

Thanks

I don't want to register on your site but when I checkout I see tax included in the cart summary. I anyway find your site extremely slow and made some benchmarks e.g. here http://www.webpagetest.org/result/130224_8W_86X/1/details/

It needs over 10 seconds before the first byte is delivered. Sometimes it takes 20 to 30 seconds to load a page which is far to long. So when I unfortunatly can not help you with your initial question I would keep an eye on the page load times too. With this performance it is no fun at all testing the shop.

All the best, trip

Thank you so much for reply and the feedback of the site speed issue. Sorry, it was a mistake - I accidently changed the shop to "force compile" and this is why it was too slow. I have changed it back to normal and it should be ok now.

The default country was set to Australia, so guests will see the full price including tax. However, if the user was registered for other country, once the user login, she/he will see the price without tax.

Prestashop was designed to have different tax for based on countries, I am right? But I just could figure out where is the place I can change the tax rate for each country. Could you help please?

Thank you!
