[Solved] Block advertising module

Recommended Posts

The "Block advertising" module doesn't work as I expect it to, a "display: none;" is added to the style attribute of the image and I can't figure out were it comes from.

Generated code:

<div class="advertising_block">
<a title="Advertising" href="http://www.prestashop.com">
<img alt="Advertising" src="./modules/blockadvertising/advertising.jpg" style="display: none;"/>
</a>
</div>

Thanks.

Any ideas? I'm not familiar with Smarty, could it be something with the parser?

Hi, I just added the advertising module to the left column and the image doesn't show up because of "display: none;" in the style attribute. The attribute isn't present in the original source, so it must be added by the parser. I'm not sure why, or where in the script it is added..

Hi  ;D

Like you said, it's very strange beacause this attribute isn't present in "blockadvertising.tpl".

What is your version of PrestaShop ?

Apparently the Firefox extension Adblock was blocking "advertising.jpg". I feel stupid. ;D

Thanks for your replies Julien, problem solved.
