Presta 1.4.6 New Theme Products list in Grid View

Hi There

I know this a query for a older version of prestashop 1.4.6.2 but i am using it for long.

 

i have search the forums got several option for grid view but not for my problem in particular. can anybody in resolving my requirement pls.

What i am looking for is

 

in category page

1. The right column should be removed

2. The centre column should be widened till right side

3 the product listing should be in grid form by default with a little bigger images (three images showing in one row) with description below these images.

 

let me mention again my version is 1.4.6.2 with the new theme (not the default theme)
