transparant logo problem HELP! lost my logo

Hi,

 

I'm trying to upload a transparant logo in the default theme. I tried several extensions jpg, gif, png but nothing seems to work. I uploaded te image to img folder and I edited header tpl like this, but now there's no image showing and I can't get the old image back. HELP?!

try with this code:

 

<img class="logo" src="URL_TO_YOUR_IMAGE_WITH_HTTP" alt="{$shop_name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" {if $logo_image_width}width="{$logo_image_width}"{/if} {if $logo_image_height}height="{$logo_image_height}" {/if} />

The image shows like this (see picture) I can't figure out what the right url is the logo is in the /public_html/img folder and named logotransp.jpg.. I have it like this now:

 

<img class="logo" src="logotransp.jpg" alt="{$shop_name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" {if $logo_image_width}width="{$logo_image_width}"{/if} {if $logo_image_height}height="{$logo_image_height}" {/if} />

 

If I change it to

 

<img class="logo" src="logo.jpg" alt="{$shop_name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" {if $logo_image_width}width="{$logo_image_width}"{/if} {if $logo_image_height}height="{$logo_image_height}" {/if} />

 

it does show the 'your logo here' image.

Think I solved it. I now use .tiff extension in IE and that seemes to work. In Google Chrome though it's not displayed properly.
