Adapting the wishlist Module - Adding own product requests

Hi,

 

Does anyone know of an easy way to adapt the existing wishlist module to allow customers to add products that they want?

 

There is a module for this that I have seen in the add-on shop but it does not add the requests to a list in the customer area and you can only add one at a time to that form which just emails it off.

 

So I would need it to:-

 

1. Allow the customer to add (up to 5) products they want onto their wish list

2. Those products to be displayed in the wish list in the customer area.

 

Any ideas?
