Shared host won't fix warnings in "advanced parametes>performance

In my BO, advanced parameteres>performance I get the following warning

 

There are 3 warnings. Hide warning

• To use Memcached, you must install the Memcache PECL extension on your server. http://www.php.net/manual/en/memcache.installation.php
  
• To use APC, you must install the APC PECL extension on your server. http://php.net/manual/en/apc.installation.php
  
• To use Xcache, you must install the Xcache extension on your server. http://xcache.lighttpd.net
  

My host says that they can't add it to a shared account, how necessary are these installations

it is not so important. These parameters are useful when the shop is visited by a lot of people. in this case those params affect on the page loading speed.

 

So, If you've got small shop with small traffic - it is not a problem

Hi,

 

this modules is needed if you want to boost up your store. If you don't want using memcached, apc, etc. don't pay attention on this.

thanks for your replies. I guess if and once my stores goes "public" I will want to upgrade my server for these
