Deleting module Paypal, no rights

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I´ve had to install a previous version of Prestashop (1.4.0.17) since i've bought a template that runs on that. However, my modules tab is now a blank page. I've searched around a bit, and it seems to be the Paypal module. However, when I try to delete this from my FTP it says access denied when trying to delete some files.

Can anyone help me remove this module, or help me fix the blank page when I click on the tab "modules"?

Thanks in advance!

Dave

try to grant other chmod to files. in some cases you can grant 777 permissions then you can delete folder with the module

if you cant do that via ftp account you can install into your back office file exprorer module and delete module right from this module

this module is available here: http://www.prestasho...-file-explorer/ of course for free

Thanks for your reply.

I can't even change some of the chmod permissions, and when I can it doesnt change anything. Getting a 550 error in my FTP.

It regards only:

/paypal/translations

/paypal/translations.backup.longnumber

I'm not even sure this solves the problem though, but it's worth a shot...

Ah sorry!

The problem is actually that I can't enter my BO -> Modules (gives a blank page). I believe this is caused by Paypal module, but I can't remove it.

It seems that I can't enter the "file explorer module" either, since this is accessed via the module page.

Looks like this http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/188872-upgraded-to-15017-module-section-is-blank/ problem.. I've installed via Installatron, but I reckon the installation is bugged :(

Any solutions, apart from installing it myself?

Cheers,

Dave

what a weirdy situation...

where you've got hosting service? Maybe you can log in into control panel like cPanel or DirectAdmin and manage files on webhosting right from control panels?

Nope, doesnt work either..

I'm letting the template creator look at it, otherwise i'll try a manual installation (rather than Installatron), it should work out in the end.

Thanks for thinking with me!
