Problem with csv import for products

I have a fresh 1.5.3 install with default theme.

 

Im experiencing the following problems when importing products. (importing categories works as intended!).

- IDs are auto-increment even with forced id-s. Import ignores the ID-s in csv file.

- import replaces categories with "home" (even with the sample csv file that PS provides), so the uploaded products are all in "home" instead of the desired categories/subcategories

- Pictures are not uploaded (suprisingly image upload works with category import, but not with products so i dont think its faied set up of the csv file regarding image urls)

 

Can someone confirm the errors trying with the sample file and 2 of his own pictures?

It also does not add:

- short description

- description

 

I've tried million types of extensions, places, combinations with image adding and it just does not work.

I have a very similar problem hey. When I import the csv file, all the products go into the home catagory and not into the catagory specified in the csv file... Can somebody really help in this regard...Preferably someone from the PrestaShop Developers...
