Prestashop 1.1 with Paypal Sandbox step by step configuration please

I have been trying to set up Paypal on my PS website since 1 week now :(

I still get the error when back to my site saying : payment erro with amount of 0.
Like : Warning: $0.00 paid instead of $183.70 !

I am ready to pay someone to set up PayPal on my PS site. I have other web site runing X-cart and I am used to set up Paypal I don't know why I can't make it works on PS ?


Please help me, I will pay for that or can is there any FULL step by step congig somewhere ?

Folks!! I was working on PS 1.2.5 for two weeks now with Sandbox Paypal.

I faced all the issues I was reading on the Forum. I love PrestaShop. It seems to get buggy when payment gateway comes to picture due all those hard validations (We need validations to avoid fraud).

It seems that we need accurate step by step guide setting up payment gateway and bingo it all works fine.

1. The first issue I faced was that once I make my Paypal payment it takes me to Order History page instead of order confirmation and I see no order in the database.

This happened since my notify_url sent to Paypal was not accessible by Paypal. I was using hosts file entry in my local laptop testing prestashop and Paypal has no clue on how to access my notify_url page since it couldnt resolve the domain name.

2. Once I fixed the issue by using the actual public domain name, My orders were getting created but with Payment error. The backoffice gives me a warning "Warning: $0.00 paid instead of $73.05 !".

I figured out that I was using Paypal developer's a/c email address as Merchant. This is a mistake done by lots of developers while testing Prestashop. Create a new "Business" test account and "Personal" test account at developer.paypal.com and use the Business account as merchant ([email protected]) in Prestashop Admin > Payment > Paypal Configure >>
And Bingo everything works!

Folks! Je travaillais sur PS 1.2.5 pour deux semaines maintenant avec Sandbox Paypal.

J'ai fait face à toutes les questions que je lisais sur le Forum. I love PrestaShop. Il semble pour obtenir cabriolet, quand la passerelle de paiement vient à échéance, les photos de ces validations dur (Nous avons besoin de validations pour éviter les fraudes).

Il semble que nous avons besoin de l'étape précise guide pas à pas la mise en place de passerelle de paiement et bingo tout fonctionne bien.

1. Le premier problème est que j'ai dû faire face une fois que je effectuer mon paiement Paypal et je me retrouve à la carte Page histoire au lieu de confirmation de commande et je ne vois pas l'ordre dans la base de données.

Cela s'est passé depuis mon notify_url envoyé à Paypal n'était pas accessible par Paypal. J'étais en utilisant le fichier hosts entrée dans mon ordinateur portable prestashop locales essais et Paypal n'a aucune idée sur la façon d'accéder à ma page notify_url car il couldnt résoudre le nom de domaine.
2. Une fois que j'ai résolu le problème en utilisant le nom réel du domaine public, Mes ordres ont été créés, mais obtenir avec l'erreur de paiement. Le backoffice me donne un avertissement "Warning: 0,00 $ versée au lieu de 73.05 $!".

Je pensais que j'étais développeur utilisant Paypal A / C Adresse e-mail comme commerçant. C'est une erreur faite par beaucoup de développeurs, tandis que PrestaShop essais. Créez un nouveau "Business" compte de test et "Personal" compte d'essai à developer.paypal.com et utiliser le compte d'entreprises en tant que commerçant ([email protected]) dans PrestaShop Admin> Paiement> Paypal Configurer>> Et tout fonctionne Bingo!
