Do not show combinations available on a product not 1.5

The problem is that I have the following product:

 

Sofa with ID 1 and now I want to make several such combinations.

 

2-seater Sofa (down), red (color)

2-seater Sofa (down), black (color)

3 seater sofa (down), blue (color)

 

I do a combination product and the couch now I have two selectors

 

1 down with options sofa: 2-seater, 3 seater sofa.

 

2 and a clear color but shows me the 3 possible colors.

 

 

What I want is that if I select the 2 squares show me the options of red and black, not blue like this happening.

 

 

And if I select 3 places shows me the 3 colors but can only be blue. And now if I select red or black shows me the message that this combination is not available.

 

 

You know any way to do this other than using AJAX.

 

 

Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful I'm stuck with this and need to resolve it quickly. thanks

This is something I have been looking for, for a long time... but I havent found any way of doing this with free modules/alterations.

 

I am having to recreate a lot of products due to this not being part of the prestashop.

I think its called "dependant drop downs", or at least it was that on zencart.

 

We sell liquids for electronic cigarettes, we have near 100 flavours and 4-5 strengths of each flavour.

So if a customer picks strength 1, they still see all flavours (even though all flavours are not available in that strength)

.... very annoying

 

If you find a way of doing this then please post it on here as it would be a very very usefull feature
